Great food to go! Tortillas are definitely homemade! Beware--salsa verde es muy picante! But very good!
Finally some authentic Mexican food around here. Also a lot cheaper than most Mexican restaurants in the area. I got 3 tacos, 1 pastor 1 asada and 1 pollo all were delicious and seasoned perfectly. Sauces are flavorful and a little spicy, definitely will make this the new go-to for a quick bite when I'm in the mood for Mexican food.
Todo muy rico pero ultimamente no estan dejando las tortas ni mangonadas preparadas como las hacian al principio.
muy buena las tortas se las recomiendo my lugar favorito no se diga el rico tepache i las mangonsdas
Best torta I ever had. Everything else is excellent.
It was delicious great service i had the pina loca & tacos!!
This place is a little bitty place but the food is excellent! I have had the torta called the Italiano, it is the best! Fresh fruit cups & mangonadas too.
The family that owns it are the sweetest people, to go orders are perfectly prepared. Definitely worth a stop.
The quesadillas and Agua Fresca are my favorite. It's hard to find places that's still make fresh drinks from the actual fruits and not the powder kind out the dispensers. The tortas are also good.
Our family loves this place! Freshly made chips and the best street tacos! It's a small mom and pop shop but you'll be glad you tried it. The only drawback? The queso leaves a lot to be desired but we don't hold that against them.
5 stars for food and 3 stars for service.
Let's start with saying this place is 100% authentic and everything is in Spanish. 5 stars for that! It is a little hole in the wall next to some north Arlington favorites such as Moni's Pizza and Olive's Mediterranean.
When you walk in the dcor is definitely outdated and all over the place. We legitimately thought no one was there because the place was empty and no one was there in the front when we walked in. After waiting a second a young kid walked out and took our order. The kid (maybe 14 or 15) I think is family to the woman in the back who does the cooking. He was incredibly soft spoken and it was hard to hear anything he said. He also seemed incredibly miserable and unhappy so it kind of threw my vibe off a bit.
We got the tacos which are $1.80 a piece and then the chips and salsa. My boyfriend got three Carne Asada and I got the Carne Asada, Carnitas, and Pork Leg. We ordered two bottle waters and all in all our meal was $15.12
It took a while for any of our food to come out, but I definitely know that everything was made fresh to order AND handmade. When we got our chips and salsa you could tell that she had handmade the tortilla chips after we ordered them and let me tell you - they were incredible! The salsa was probably ranks in my top three favorite of all time. It started off a little sweet and has an incredible punch at the end.
We got our tacos about 15-20 minutes later and they were small, but mighty. The tortillas again had been HANDMADE PEOPLE!!!!!! No store bought shit here. They had a little grilled onions and then cilantro on top. He brought us two sauces to put on as well. One green and one red. The green one tasted like a Budweiser to me so I wasn't a fan, but the red was nice and spicy! It wasn't a chile sauce either which was great for me, I am normally not a fan of chile sauce.
The pork leg was hands down the best - I mean it's all the juicy perfect kinds of fat peeps. The Carne Asada and Carnitas were both delectable too.
All in all we will come back for the authenticity, but it is definitely not somewhere you go for the experience if you know what I'm sayin'?
Small place that's easy to miss. 4 stars for fruit, snacks and customer service, ladies were friendly. I would say about a 3 for the food, it was just ok.
Love the food, and the ladies are very nice.
Make sure to try the fruits and Ice ceam
